    Lloydminster, AB/SK - Lloydminster Museum + Archives will host two travelling exhibitions from the Montreal Holocaust Museum: Witnesses to History, Keepers of Memory; and Tell me a Story! Youth Literature and the Holocaust, from November 1, 2024 - January 11, 2025.

  • Notice of ATCO electric franchise fee increase

    Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is proposing to increase the local access fee, which is charged to ATCO Electric for the use of the municipal lands for its power lines, effective January 1, 2025. The fee is recovered by ATCO Electric from its customers as the local franchise fee on electrical billings of all customers that receive electric service in the City of Lloydminster.

  • Council receives first draft of 2025 proposed budget

    Lloydminster, AB/SK – Lloydminster City Council received the first draft of the 2025 proposed municipal budget during a Governance and Priorities Committee meeting on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. 

  • Applications open for Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant Program

    Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is accepting applications for the Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant Program from November 1 until December 13. Eligible non-profit organizations in Lloydminster can apply for funding to help make a difference in the community. Non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply by visiting Lloydminster.ca/grants for full details and application guidelines.

  • Application withdrawn prior to SDAB hearing

    The applicant for the Subdivision Development Appeal Board (SDAB) hearing, scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, has withdrawn their application. Regardless of the application withdrawal, legislative process requires the SDAB convene.
