Lloydminster, AB/SK - The City of Lloydminster, in partnership with Knelson Sand & Gravel Ltd., will rehabilitate a portion of the multi-use path extending from the east entrance of Bud Miller All Seasons Park starting Monday, June 3, 2024.
Lloydminster, AB/SK – City Council passed the 2024 Mill Rate Bylaw during the May 27 council meeting, with a property tax increase coming in slightly lower than anticipated.
UPDATE (May 31, 2024): In the early morning of May 31, 2024, the victim of the aggravated assault, 19-year-old Nicolas Scott, succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy is scheduled this morning at City Hospital in Saskatoon. Following the results of the autopsy, additional charges are likely to be laid.
The thoughts of the Alberta RCMP are with the family and friends of Nicolas in this difficult time.
Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster announced Synergy Credit Union as the sponsor for the lobby staircases and elevator at Cenovus Energy Hub, which is currently under construction and anticipated to open in late 2025.
