Lloydminster, AB – Lloydminster General Investigation Section (GIS), in partnership with the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team (NWEST), started an investigation in June 2023 after a loaded 22. calibre revolver was located during a search warrant in Kitimat, B.C. Kitimat RCMP conducted queries on the firearm, which showed the registered owner to be a resident of Lloydminster.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Saskatchewan mayors of Lloydminster, North Battleford, Warman and Yorkton presented a proposal to improve VIA Rail’s passenger service across the province to the City of Saskatoon at a Governance and Priorities Committee meeting at Saskatoon’s City Hall on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
