Council Highlights

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Lloydminster City Council has approved a 2025 municipal budget that includes quality-of-life investments for residents and improvements to essential infrastructure.
The operating budget is $110 million and the capital budget is $52.9 million.

Lloydminster, AB/SK -  Mayor Gerald Aalbers, along with three returning incumbents and three newly elected Councillors, officially took office during a swearing-in ceremony at City Hall on Monday, November 18, 2024.

Bylaws

1. Council granted second, third and final reading to Bylaw No. 04-2024 Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Bylaw.

2. Council granted second, third and final reading to Bylaw No. 05-2024 Repealing Bylaw.

3. Council granted second, third and final reading to Bylaw No. 06-2024 Mill Rate Bylaw.
