Public Hearing for Proposed Bylaw No. 12-2024

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster invites residents to participate in an upcoming Public Hearing for proposed Bylaw No. 12-2024. This bylaw seeks to amend the Land Use District Map (Part IV of Land Use Bylaw No. 05-2016) to support future residential development in the Lakeside neighbourhood.

The proposed changes involve reclassifying the current Urban Transition (UT) district into three new districts:

• Single Detached Residential (R1)
• Public Utility (PU)
• Recreation District (RD)

The Public Hearing will be held:

Time: 2:00 p.m.
Location: Council Chambers, City Hall

Residents are encouraged to share their feedback. Written or verbal presentations can be made without prior notice during the Public Hearing. To ensure inclusion in the Agenda package, written submissions must be sent to the City Clerk at cityclerk@lloydminster.ca by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
