Mayor and New City Council Officially Sworn In

Lloydminster, AB/SK -  Mayor Gerald Aalbers, along with three returning incumbents and three newly elected Councillors, officially took office during a swearing-in ceremony at City Hall on Monday, November 18, 2024.

Members of City Council who took the Oath of Office included:

• Mayor Gerald Aalbers (acclaimed)
• Councillor Michael Diachuk (incumbent)
• Councillor David Lopez (incumbent)
• Councillor Jason Whiting (incumbent)
• Councillor Michele Charles Gustafson
• Councillor Jim Taylor
• Councillor Justin Vance

Mayor and Council will convene for their first regular meeting of City Council on Monday, November 25, 2024.
