Lloydminster to celebrate National Seniors Day with education, social programs
Lloydminster, AB/SK – In honour of National Seniors Day, Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Lloydminster, in partnership with the Lloydminster Learning Council Association, invites individuals aged 55-plus to delve into the nuanced stages of retirement and explore the essence of resilience in the aging process. The event, slated for Thursday, October 5, 2023, will feature a compelling discussion led by renowned health facilitator, Neil Harris.
Harris, a prominent mental health expert, will guide the audience through a captivating exploration of the four essential stages of retirement. Participants can look forward to gaining valuable insights and knowledge, helping them navigate this significant life transition with confidence and informed decision-making.
In addition to the Seniors Day Lunch and Learn, seniors in Lloydminster have the opportunity to engage in enriching experiences offered entirely free of charge. Two local events have been curated to captivate the senior community.
