G-Force Diesel Announces $40,000 Sponsorship at Cenovus Energy Hub

Lloydminster, AB/SK – G-Force Diesel Service has confirmed its place among a growing list of local businesses to be prominently recognized within Lloydminster’s premier indoor ice and event facility, the Cenovus Energy Hub, currently under construction.

With a contribution of $40,000 G-Force Diesel has secured naming rights to one of 11 athlete dressing rooms currently available for sponsorship within the new facility.

“Knowing our company’s name will be featured as part of this major community project is exciting, but for my staff and myself here at G-Force, this sponsorship is about much more than name recognition. This is a place where youth and families will make life-long memories, have family outings, discover passions, and achieve incredible things. What means the most to us is the knowledge we will have played a part in helping make it all a reality for the people of the Lloydminster region.”

Cenovus Energy Hub, set to become a cornerstone of the Lloydminster community, will offer a wide range of amenities designed to foster community engagement, sports and entertainment.

The fundraising campaign, dubbed "Fill The Seats” is aimed at encouraging local businesses and individuals to participate in the growth and development of Cenovus Energy Hub.

More than a hockey arena, more than a concert venue — Cenovus Energy Hub is an entertainment facility, the largest of its kind in the region. This inclusive and accessible space will unite people from Lloydminster and beyond to create community through extraordinary experiences, celebration and fun. The fit-for-purpose facility has been designed with great care, and includes:

a primary arena with seating for 2,500, expandable up to 4,500 for concerts and events with floor seating.
a second, NHL-sized indoor ice surface with seating for up to 500.
a third outdoor ice surface adjacent to the building, which functions as a basketball court in the summer.
