Election day in Lloydminster

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Lloydminster’s eligible voters head to the polls today to vote for up to six City Councillors and up to seven board trustees for both the Lloydminster Public School Division and Lloydminster Catholic School Division.

Four regular polls at three different locations will be open today from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Poll locations:

• Nissan Hall, Exhibition Grounds (5521 49 Avenue)
• Lloydminster Canadian Tire Fieldhouse, Servus Sports Centre (5202 12 Street)
• Mike’s Oilfield Services Fieldhouse, Servus Sports Centre (5202 12 Street)
• Main Hall, Legacy Centre (5101 46 Street)

Once the polls close and ballots are counted, unofficial results will be available at Lloydminster.ca/LiveResults. Updates will begin today, November 13, after polls close at 8 p.m. These unofficial results will include:

• 4 regular polls
• mail-in ballots
• advance polls that were open from October 29 to November 9.

Official results will be released after verification by the Returning Officer on November 14, 2024.

Mayor Aalbers was elected by acclamation.
