Bylaws

1. Council granted second, third and final reading to Bylaw No. 04-2024 Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Bylaw.

2. Council granted second, third and final reading to Bylaw No. 05-2024 Repealing Bylaw.

3. Council granted second, third and final reading to Bylaw No. 06-2024 Mill Rate Bylaw.

Office of the City Clerk

1. Council approved funding in the amount of $5,192.25 from the Public Safety Photo Radar Reserve (1-200-220-37114) to purchase a SafePace Evolution Speed Radar Sign, which will be paid out of the Bylaw Services Operating Budget (22001-0001-53100).

2. Council amended the 2024 meeting schedule by removing the council meeting on June 3, 2024.

Community Development Services

1. Council authorized Administration to enter into a 10-year sponsorship agreement with Synergy Credit Union for the naming rights of the two lobby staircases and elevator within the Cenovus Energy Hub event facility.

2. Council approved the award of the Lake K Clay Stockpile Relocation – Contractor to Arnold Earthmoving Ltd. of Saskatoon, Sask., in the amount of $923,022, excluding GST, to be allocated from the Capital Budget Project No. 2435003. In addition, Council approved a contingency allowance of 8%, excluding GST, to be allocated from the Capital Budget Project No. 2435003.
