About the Recreation Access Program

The Recreation Access Program is an income-based program designed to remove some of the financial barriers associated with using City of Lloydminster recreation and cultural facilities. Once approved, clients can access city-operated recreation facilities for $2 per drop-in or receive 75 per cent off membership fees.

The Recreation Access Program was introduced in 2019 as a response to the findings of the Social Needs Assessment that more than 20 per cent of Lloydminster residents were facing financial barriers to participating in recreation. To date, there have been 2,162 applicants approved for the program. Learn more about the Recreation Access Program at Lloydminster.ca/RAP.
