City of Lloydminster launches Let’s Talk Policing campaign

Lloydminster, AB/SK—The City of Lloydminster invites residents to provide feedback on public safety and local policing levels through the Let’s Talk Policing campaign. Running from March 5 to March 28, this engagement initiative aims to gather community feedback on perceptions of public safety, satisfaction with policing services, and desired annual priorities.

Through the engagement campaign, residents will be asked a series of questions about different levels of policing in the community: Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Community Peace Officers, Bylaw Enforcement Officers, and the use of photo radar equipment. A summary of each role’s responsibilities is available on the project webpage.

The survey is available online at YourVoiceLloyd.ca/Policing and in paper format at Archie Miller Arena, City Hall, Lloydminster Museum + Archives, Operations Centre, RCMP Detachment, and Servus Sports Centre. Completed paper surveys may be submitted during regular hours at these locations or after-hours via the mail slot at City Hall (4420 50 Ave). All submissions must be received by March 28 at 11:59 p.m.

Responses will help shape future policing initiatives and ensure local law enforcement continues to meet the community's needs.
