City of Lloydminster expands partnership with Lloydminster & District Co-op

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is pleased to announce the expansion of its longstanding partnership with the Lloydminster & District Co-op, marking another significant milestone in community collaboration. The pair have partnered in a five-year deal, securing the naming of the Co-op Community Outdoor Pool.

This partnership extension underscores the shared commitment of both entities to enhance recreational opportunities and community well-being. The Co-op's continued support will enable the City to maintain and improve the outdoor pool, ensuring residents and visitors can enjoy a safe and welcoming aquatic facility for years to come.

A celebration is scheduled to take place in mid-June to coincide with the seasonal opening of the Co-op Community Outdoor Pool. Further details about the event will be announced closer to the date and will be available online at Lloydminster.ca/ODP.

In addition to the outdoor pool, the Lloydminster & District Co-op recently demonstrated its commitment to community infrastructure by naming the Co-op Community Arena at the Cenovus Energy Hub. This further highlights the co-operative’s 110-year history of investing in the region, solidifying its role as a vital community partner.
