Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues its investigation into September 11 Incident

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is actively investigating the tragic incident that occurred on September 11, 2024, which resulted in the deaths of three individuals. The victims have now been positively identified as:

  • Brent Peters, 66
  • Matthew Peters, 32
  • Brennan Peters, 34

We understand the concern this event has caused within the community. The City of Lloydminster extends its deepest condolences to the families affected by this tragedy. The RCMP is working tirelessly to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. While the investigation remains ongoing, we would like to reassure the public that there is no threat to community safety.
