Lloydminster, AB/SK - Lloydminster RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating the missing 48-year-old Ina Luanne Starblanket. Ina was last seen in Lloydminster on Sept. 24, 2024. There is concern for her well-being.
Lloydminster, AB/SK – The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is actively investigating the tragic incident that occurred on September 11, 2024, which resulted in the deaths of three individuals.
Lloydminster, AB/SK – On September 5, 2024, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Lloydminster RCMP received a call regarding a male at a residence near 45th Avenue and 47 Street in Lloydminster, potentially possessing a handgun. The male had been posting videos to social media of himself with a possible firearm.
Lloydminster, AB/SK - On Aug. 31, 2024, Lloydminster RCMP received a report of a missing youth. 15-year-old Tracy Buffin was last seen in Lloydminster on July 27, 2024. She is believed to be in the Calgary area.
On June 11, 2024, at approximately 7:06 a.m., Lloydminster RCMP received reports of a home invasion within the community. Upon arrival, RCMP located two individuals with gunshot wounds, who were airlifted to the hospital.
Lloydminster, Alta. – On August 7, 2024, Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section executed a search warrant at a residence located in East Lloydminster. During the search, officers discovered items consistent with drug trafficking.
UPDATE (May 31, 2024): In the early morning of May 31, 2024, the victim of the aggravated assault, 19-year-old Nicolas Scott, succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy is scheduled this morning at City Hospital in Saskatoon. Following the results of the autopsy, additional charges are likely to be laid.
The thoughts of the Alberta RCMP are with the family and friends of Nicolas in this difficult time.
Edmonton - As the weather warms up, most Albertans are spending more time outdoors, and often away from their homes. Not securing your property can make you a prime target for theft.
A stolen firearm was recovered following ALERT’s arrest of a suspected drug dealer in Lloydminster. Two homes were searched, and cocaine, fentanyl, and meth were also seized.
Lloydminster, Alta. – On April 7, 2024, at 2 p.m., Lloydminster RCMP received a complaint of theft from Real Canadian Superstore on Highway 16. RCMP attended and located a male concealing store merchandise. Upon investigation, the male was also wanted on a warrant out of the Edmonton area and was subsequently arrested.
