The long-anticipated announcement has come. On April 28, Canadians will head to the polls to elect a federal representative who will help shape the new Parliament in Ottawa.
The Alberta government recently introduced its 2025-26 budget, which will take effect on April 1, 2025. I had the opportunity to be present in the Alberta Legislature for the budget speech, delivered by Finance Minister Nate Horner.
Residents, business owners, and neighbours often ask: Is the city growing? Are we gaining or losing residents? Several factors help determine the answer.

Neighbours have always been a part of our lives. We have countless reasons to be grateful and to support the organizations that make our community stronger. With endless opportunities to develop our skills and share our talents, we can come together to help those in need.
A common question I receive from residents is about conflict of interest at council meetings: What is it, and how is it managed?
