Frequently Asked Questions
I'd like to buy some Senior Taxi Vouchers for my mother. Who can buy the vouchers?
No. Seniors vouchers are exchanged in lieu of payment of a fare. If two residents get in a taxi at the same location and depart at the same place, only one fare can be charged.
Do I need to pay a separate fare for my child/grandchild?
No. If one passenger is a senior and one is not a senior (for example, a grandchild), a single seniors voucher would cover the trip as only one fare should be generated for both as long as they both get in and out at the same spot.
Can I go to the airport using a taxi voucher?
Yes. The Lloydminster Municipal Airport is located within city limits.
What taxi companies are in Lloydminster?
If you need a ride in Lloydminster, review the list of available taxis for more information.
Can I use my voucher for the Border City Connects?
Yes. Although Border City Connects is not classified as a taxi, it does accept the Seniors Taxi Vouchers as payment.
