Lloydminster, AB/SK— Lloydminster Museum + Archives (LMA) invites visitors to explore the story of the bison — America’s national mammal — through Bison: American Icon, a travelling exhibition on display beginning May 31, 2025.

Lloydminster, AB/SK— Bioclean Aquatic Centre will be closed on Saturday, May 31, 2025, to accommodate the Lloydminster Rebels Swim Meet. Regular hours of operation will resume on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – With the possibility of a national postal strike, the City of Lloydminster is taking proactive steps to minimize service disruptions for our residents, vendors and customers.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – City Council passed the 2025 Mill Rate Bylaw during the May 20 Regular City Council meeting. The updated bylaw lowered both the residential and non-residential mill rate increase to 2.47 per cent from the 4.5 per cent budget approved in 2024.

The following statement has been provided regarding the closure of CITL-TV and CKSA-TV:

Lloydminster, AB/SK— The City of Lloydminster will begin property assessment inspections on May 12, 2025. Residential property inspections will occur in the Central Business District and East Lloydminster neighbourhoods, north of Highway 16 (44 Street), throughout the summer. Non-residential property inspections will take place in the Hill Industrial Park area.

As part of the development of the Integrated Waste Management and Facility Master Plan, the City has launched a public survey to gather feedback on key waste management and diversion initiatives.
