Community Futures Committee Community Futures Lloydminster and Region's activities are guided by a Board of Directors made up of members from the member municipalities in the Lloydminster Region. Board Members are appointed on an annual basis by the municipalities in the region. As a shareholder in the Community Futures Lloydminster organization, each municipality is required to appoint two elected officials to the organization. For details on the municipal appointment process, please contact your local municipality.

Lloydminster & District Health Advisory Council
Established in June 2010, the Lloydminster & District Health Advisory Council (L&DHAC) is a community health advisory network established to act as a liaison between our communities and the Prairie North Regional Health Authority Board. The L&DHAC will advise Prairie North Regional Health Authority on broad issues related to the health of the community, assist the Authority to understand the needs and priorities of the community and its residents, and educate the community on health care delivery for Lloydminster and area.

Lloydminster Region Housing Group
Meet monthly to discuss and review financial reports i.e. Balance sheets, Income statements, bank reconciliations and approve current payments. Look at vacancy reports and discuss work that could be done on vacant units. Produce a three year business plan every three years which includes discussion of capital initiatives required to maintain the portfolio as well as annual operating budgets. Often will deal with tenant requests and sometimes discuss tenants who may not be abiding by the Alberta Residential Tenancies Act and what actions may be appropriate. Also try to be aware of senior residents who may be reaching a stage where they need more care and encourage them to seek advice from Home Care or their doctor regarding the Lodge. The Board works closely with the Alberta Social Housing Corp. managing a provincially owned portfolio.

North Central Transportation Planning Committee
To develop a transportation plan for the north central region by bringing together elected municipal representatives, producers, and business stake holders, thereby gaining a greater knowledge of regional transportation issues and becoming involved in transportation decision making into the 21st century.
