Family & Community Support Services
The Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Grant Program is a source of funding for non-profit community organizations provided the Province of Alberta and the City of Lloydminster. The funds are to be used to enhance and enrich preventative programs and services within the City of Lloydminster.

Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant

The Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant Program assists in the development of sport, culture and recreation programs by providing funds to non-profit community organizations operated by volunteers.

Lloydminster Tobacco Reduction Grant
The Lloydminster Tobacco Reduction Grant (LTRG) is a community grant program that funds public awareness of the risks associated with tobacco and tobacco substitutes and initiatives that support the adoption of healthier lifestyles.

Vulnerable Sector Checks Fee Waiver
Non-profit Organizations can have some of the costs of Vulnerable Sector Checks reduced or waived for their volunteers. For more information email or call 780 874 3710.
  1. Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC): $50
  2. VSC for Eligible Non-profit: $25
  3. VSC for Non-profit with a Volunteer Screening Program Number (VSPN):$0.00

Other Fee's may apply.VSPN's are issued through Volunteer Alberta and are available to eligible non-profit organizations on both sides of the border.

Property Tax Exemption
The City of Lloydminster offers a reduction/ exemption on the municipal portion of property taxes for organizations that meet Property Tax Exemption criteria. For more information on whether your organization is eligible please contact or review our Property Tax Exemption Requirements.

Landfill Tipping Fee Exemption
The City of Lloydminster offers a reduction/ exemption on Landfill Tipping fees for non-profit organization who are involved in charitable activities resulting to diversion of recyclable or reusable materials from the landfill or volunteer groups conduction clean-up events on public property (eg.
