Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre Golf Course Opens for Season May 4, 2017

Lloydminster AB/SK - The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre (LGCC) golf course will officially open for the season on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 12:00 p.m.

The 18-hole, par 72 championship course will be open from 8:00 a.m. until dark for the golf season, pending weather conditions.

“The course is in great shape and our team looks forward to providing new and returning guests with the best possible LGCC experience,” said Marty Wheaton, Manager, LGCC. “We are a proudly inclusive facility, welcoming guests of all ages and skill levels.”

Mayor Gerald Aalbers will be on site to kick off the grand opening by hitting the season- opening tee shot.

Memberships, including regular, couple, senior, junior and corporate, are available for purchase at the Pro Shop.


Additional Information

The LGCC is home to a PGA of Canada teaching facility, driving range, practice green and short game facility, offering guests the ultimate golf experience on the border. LGCC hosts several corporate events and special celebrations with a fully licensed kitchen and lounge.

The golf course appeals to experienced golfers and beginners, offering four sets of tee boxes ranging from 5,700 yards to 7,000 yards.
