Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is renovating the iconic clock tower dome in downtown Lloydminster.

The City is working with two local companies, Bexson Construction and Brite Images, to make necessary repairs including:
• removing an unused chimney and patching holes,
• repairing corroded areas, and
• re-painting the dome once repairs are complete.

“The City recognizes the historical value of the Heritage Building,” said Pete McHugh, General Manager, Property Services. “Thanks to the financial support of the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation, we are extending the life of this beloved Lloydminster landmark, ensuring it will remain a point of downtown pride for years to come.”

The Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation fosters conservation of the heritage resources that embody
Saskatchewan’s heritage for the benefit of present and future generations.
