Online News Resource ‘Lloydminster Record’ Delivers Straight Facts on City Matters

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster has introduced an online news resource, delivering straight facts on City of Lloydminster matters.

The Lloydminster Record was created to provide clarity, balance and perspective to news coverage. When potentially misleading information is encountered, the City of Lloydminster will post clarifying articles at http://www.lloydminster.ca/LloydminsterRecord. New and updated Lloydminster Record posts will additionally be shared through the City’s social media accounts.

“As part of our commitment to further enhancing transparency, including the delivery of timely information to residents, the City of Lloydminster will clarify inaccurate or potentially misleading news coverage through the Lloydminster Record,” said Todd Corrigall, Director, Strategy and Partnerships. “Informed decisions are made by understanding all of the facts. The City of Lloydminster is committed to providing this information in as many formats as possible.”

Anyone encountering inaccurate, potentially misleading or unclear news items relating to the City of Lloydminster is encouraged to notify the City by email at therecord@lloydminster.ca.
